What’s unique about this role?

AI & Analytics Senior Analyst at Lighthouse in the Asia Pacific office will drive the implementation of complex electronic discovery review projects for law firms and corporations leveraging AI (e.g., GenAI, TAR) and analytics (e.g., structured sets, classifiers). This role is both highly collaborative and highly process- and technology-oriented requiring deep knowledge of discovery workflows and requirements, along with high literacy in state-of-the-art discovery review processes such as linguistic modeling, machine learning, etc. 

Lighthouse AIA Analysts implement over portfolio, spanning GenAI and predictive AI implementations for specific litigations and investigations, as well as maintaining programmatic analytics implementations for our corporate enterprise clients. As part of an innovation-focused team, Lighthouse AIA Analysts play a pivotal role in articulating and prioritizing the requirements for the next wave of our proprietary tools. They will contribute towards the development and deployment of AI-driven solutions and assist in integration with existing workflows. They will also play a central role in validating the functionality of new tools once developed.

What will this person do?

Execution of AI & Analytics client projects, including:

  • Implementation on projects leveraging GenAI, predictive AI, and/or structured analytics.
  • Effective communication and tracking across all phases of project lifecycle with internal stakeholders.
  • Documenting lessons learned for internal discussion and process/technology improvements.
  • Tracking and escalating project risk concerns up the chain as necessary.
  • Providing end-of-project metrics to inform ROI analyses and quarterly business reviews.

Contribution to operational initiatives, including:

  • Testing out new tools and workflows and providing both qualitative and quantitative input.
  • Documenting technical process and workflows to expand out AIA knowledge management resources.
  • Being able to explain, analyze, and report out observations and results to APAC and US leadership stakeholders. 

Collaboration with stakeholders, including: 

  • Working closely with AIA Associate Director in aligning the AIA APAC team with Global Lighthouse standards, processes and procedures.
  • Ability to effectively connect and communicate with internal stakeholders across APAC, US, and UK offices for any new eDiscovery analytics matter, including related escalations.

  • 3-5 years of experience within the eDiscovery services domain.
  • Sufficient knowledge and proficiency in advanced search and linguistic methodology to propose and validate new process workflows. 
  • Demonstrates keen interest and is highly motivated to acquire skills in GenAI prompting, post-GenAI QC methodology, and structured analytics.
  • Committed to a strong, responsible delivery and innovation team in the APAC region for a firm ‘Follow the Sun’ model.
  • Exposure to eDiscovery analytics technology and platforms, including key applications and programs such as Lighthouse Search/Analytics, Brainspace, and Relativity is preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of litigation support and legal discovery process and concepts.
  • Proven success and desire to consult with clients/internal departments, projecting expertise and solving day-to-day challenges as well as strategic challenges.
  • Strong strategic, analytical and decision-making skills to enable smooth offshore operations in APAC. 
  • Dynamic personality who can assist onboarding and training of future AIA APAC hiring/transitions when needed.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with clients and internal staff (demonstrated both in relaxed atmosphere and under pressure).
  • Customer service demeanor: consultative, approachable, respectful, and polite.
  • Work with US, UK and APAC teams to drive client success as well as enhance the brand.
  • Ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Travel for business purposes as required.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Duties are performed in a typical office environment while at a desk or computer table.
  • Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material, in a quiet and professional setting.
  • Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).

The salary range for this position may be tailored to be lower or higher in different talent markets.

This role will be eligible to participate in an annual bonus or incentive program.
