Inside the Insurance Software Business organization a new world class AI Products team has been formed to create innovative AI/GenAI/ML solutions to be delivered as standalone Products or embedded in the Insurance Products of the broader ISB portfolio.
Daily challenges
- In cooperation with the team manager and the other senior AI/ML specialists you will have the responsibility of identifying and design the best solutions and AI/ML components for all or a range of AI Products.
- Directly deliver the AI/ML components assigned to you as part of one or more Products.
- Participate in daily scrum meetings.
- Perform Project Management activities where required.
- Monitor, coach and support more junior members of the team.
- Be part of the the “AI Products Tech leadership team” and suggest, new innovative ways for applying AI/ML technologies to the Insurance world.
eXperience and skills required
- Proficiency in machine learning algorithms and techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, etc.
- Experience with popular AI/ML frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.
- Proficiency in natural language processing (NLP) techniques and models, Text Classification , RNNs, CNNs, and Transformer-based models like BERT.
- Experience with generative AI and related terminologies, including RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), Vector DBs, and frameworks such as LangChain, Hugging Face, etc.
- Strong programming skills in languages commonly used for data science and ML, especially in Python.
- Ability to design and implement end-to-end AI/ML solutions, from data preprocessing and feature engineering to model deployment and monitoring.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and services for AI/ML, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, preferably in AWS.
- Knowledge of AWS Cloud Resources like AWS Sagemaker, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, etc. a plus.
Leadership and Management Skills:
- Experience leading a team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, or related roles on a specific project.
- Ability to mentor and coach junior team members, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Experience in setting technical direction and strategy for AI/ML projects aligned with business goals.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels, including technical and non-technical audiences.
- Prior experience in Insurance a plus.
