You’ll be focused in • Designing, developing, and implementing generative AI solutions (framework and/or product) that align with business requirements, with a focus on production-ready code and architectures. • Writing and maintain high-quality Python code for AI applications, with an emphasis on performance, reliability, and maintainability. • Building and implementing sharable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for AI products, ensuring consistent deployment across development and production. • Developing containerization strategies and implementations for AI workloads to ensure consistent execution environments. • Creating and maintain CI/CD pipelines for streamlined development, testing, and deployment of AI solutions. • Staying current with emerging AI technologies and frameworks, evaluating and incorporating them into our technical stack when appropriate.
In order to succeed, you’ll need • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field. • Strong practical experience (4+ years) in developing and implementing AI systems, with hands-on expertise in generative AI technologies. • Hands-on experience with GenAI technologies and frameworks for processing and generating text. • Practical knowledge of MLOps tools and practices for model development, deployment, and monitoring. • Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. AWS CDK, CloudFormation) and containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, AWS ECS). • Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML (e.g. GitLab CI/CD). • Demonstrated expertise with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, particularly services related to AI/ML workloads (e.g. SageMaker, Lambda, ECS). • Proficient in Python programming with experience building production-grade AI applications and services. Understanding of data governance, security considerations, and compliance requirements for AI systems. • Strong communication and analytical skills • Great English skills, both written and spoken.
About the product We are seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to join our MAN AI Center of Enablement (AI CoE). This role will focus on both designing and implementing AI (Machine Learning, Generative AI, ...) systems within our cloud infrastructure (mainly AWS). The Senior AI/ML Engineer will be hands-on in developing solutions while ensuring they are robust, scalable, and efficient to meet business objectives. Our AI CoE is divided into two specialized squads. This Engineer will work on the Toolstack Squad, which focuses primarily on managing and enhancing our AI tool stack. This squad is responsible for evaluating various AI tools, identifying emerging trends in the industry, and establishing standards and best practices to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our AI solutions.
