 Senior AI Platform Product Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior AI Platform Product Manager to lead the development and continuous improvement of our AI-driven platform. This role focuses on ensuring robust, consistent, and accurate AI features through close collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong domain knowledge in machine learning, particularly in computer vision, and will drive initiatives to enhance our platform's AI capabilities and analytics features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety Feature Development: Drive the development of new AI-driven safety features by working with both international and Indian fleet customers. Inspire innovation and align feature development with customer needs and market opportunities.
  • AI KPI Management: Understand and measure machine learning algorithms using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as precision, recall, and false positive rate. Apply basic statistical principles to ensure unbiased and accurate performance evaluations; and collaborate with the Analytics Operations team to root cause ML observations.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Lead ML continuous improvement (CI/CD) efforts with the ML Infrastructure team, aiming for 99%+ model accuracy. Prioritize improvements based on current KPIs and collaboration with ML Infra Product Experts.
  • User Experience: Work with the UX team to enhance customer interactions with video annotation, alert decoration, and feature configurations.
  • Release Management: Manage roadmap enhancements for release cycles. Ensure proper release notes and collaborate with the technical documentation team for customer-facing communications.
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Review all AI Product Management PRDs to ensure they meet the platform's standards and best practices.
  • Mentorship: Mentor junior product managers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to evaluate data, assess risks, and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills tailored to different audiences, including engineering, marketing, support, and leadership.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive complex projects to completion.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in technology, with 5+ years in Product Management focusing on AI-driven platforms.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning, computer vision, and statistical principles.
  • Experience with product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
  • Proven ability to work with international teams and flexibility to accommodate different time zones, including evening IST meetings.
  • Experience in video telematics and fleet management is a plus.
