Role - Senior AI Platform Engineer
Location - Hybrid for Rawalpindi/Islamabad Remote - Other Cities
Role Summary We are seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer to design and implement high-performance backend systems and AI infrastructure. You'll work on low-latency online services or intelligent components such as Knowledge Graphs to power our AI products. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy building production-grade systems and working with modern cloud-native technologies.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain low-latency backend services for AI applications
Build and deploy scalable cloud-native systems using AWS services
Work closely with AI researchers, data engineers, and product teams to integrate backend systems with AI workflows
Ensure code quality, service reliability, and infrastructure observability
Contribute to best practices in backend engineering and DevOps
Requirements
8+ years of professional experience in backend or infrastructure engineering (Internships and personal projects not included)
Strong coding skills in Python or Java
Proven experience building high-performance online services (sub-millisecond latency preferred; AI-related workloads a plus)
Solid understanding of Knowledge Graph technologies, including:
Graph databases (e.g., Neo4j, Amazon Neptune)
Metadata ontologies
Graph-based Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
Practical experience with cloud-native services, including:
AWS Lambda, S3, ECS, Batch
Track record of owning services through development, deployment, and monitorin
Nice to Have
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
Experience using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)
Exposure to cloud-agnostic orchestration using Kubernetes
