Equifax is where you can power your possible. If you want to achieve your true potential, chart new paths, develop new skills, collaborate with bright minds,  and make a meaningful impact, we want to hear from you.

This VP level Data Architect requires data architecture expertise to help deliver key security initiatives around AI, telemetry and data deduplication.  These initiatives are foundational for executing Equifax's security organization's core strategy moving forward.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and propose customized AI solutions tailored to meet security requirements.  This involves evaluating and recommending the right AI tools, designing machine learning models and implementation strategies.  As the technology and threat landscape evolves, modify AI solutions accordingly to maintain effectiveness

  • Ensure seamless integration of AI models into existing systems and global platforms.

  • Develop quick PoC prototypes to showcase the AI capabilities.

  • Continuously monitor the performance of AI based security solutions and implement improvements to the functionality/efficiency of the service

  • Design and drive implementation of an optimal data layer that enables the acquisition, production, storage, access analysis, and delivery of data to meet business objectives, acting as a bridge between the data requirements of business and analytic processes, and the physical implementation of that data in technology infrastructure

  • Optimize the end-to-end data environment for the enterprise data strategy – by simplifying, streamlining, and standardizing reusable data structures and flows where possible, and customizing for specific business uses if needed

  • Design data domains, taxonomies, ontologies, metadata  requirements, and other standards that are critical to ensuring that  the meaning of data is precise and unambiguous, and that data is accessible and aligned with business purpose

  • Work closely with IT to align underlying physical sources with data domains, logical and conceptual models, authoritative sources, and access points across the enterprise – maximizing value and use, and minimizing data expense, technical debt, and remediation costs

  • Partner with IT to ensure ongoing management of the data architecture through SDLC, IT, and other governance processes

  • Responsible for generating maximum value from data holdings by translating the business vision into a flexible data asset

What experience you need

  • BS degree (STEM major or equivalent discipline preferred)

  • 10+ years of data analysis, modeling, and architecture experience, particularly applied to common and specific business uses

  • Core expertise in data science, engineering or a related field, preferably strong focus on AI.

  • Proven experience in building and deploying machine learning models.

  • Familiarity with various AI algorithms and techniques (NLP, NLTK etc.).

  • Ability to think creatively and and strategically regarding applying AI/ML to solve security specific challenges; account for user experience, change management, and process reengineering in solutions.

  • Deep understanding of machine learning and AI technologies, including the ability to design, train, and implement end-to-end machine learning models and use natural language processing techniques for automation.

  • 3-5 years of experience with deploying and managing infrastructure in Public Cloud.

  • Experience with Cloud technologies, esp. with Google Cloud Platform.

  • Fluency across cloud and on prem technologies and tools, structured and unstructured data, streaming and reposed data

  • Demonstrated expertise designing data structures and solutions in multiple companies, businesses, and infrastructures based on a deep understanding of the business and technical environment

  • Deep expertise with a variety of data modeling techniques and tools across a variety of platforms and architecture patterns

  • Proven experience in driving analytics and AI solutions

What could set you apart

  • Knowledge of generative AI platforms, especially those offered within GCP and AWS

  • Innovative prompt design skillset; develop and refine prompts to maximize the value of AI response

  • Cloud, TOGAF, and other relevant technical certifications strongly preferred

  • Master’s Degree preferred
