Are you ready to build and lead a world-class Sales Development team at a high-growth AI startup? Qodo is looking for a dynamic, strategic, and entrepreneurial Founding SDR Leader to establish and scale our Sales Development organization. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact, driving the growth engine of a company that’s transforming the way businesses ensure code quality in AI development.

Your Mission:

As the Founding SDR Leader, you’ll be responsible for building the SDR function from the ground up. You’ll design and execute a scalable strategy for pipeline generation, mentor and develop high-performing SDRs, and partner closely with sales leadership to optimize lead conversion. This is a pivotal role where you’ll shape the culture, processes, and success of the SDR team while contributing directly to Qodo.ai’s overall growth trajectory.

What Will You Do:

  • Recruit, hire, and train a team of high-performing SDRs to drive pipeline growth
  • Develop and implement playbooks, processes, and metrics to ensure repeatable success
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine lead qualification criteria and optimize outreach strategies
  • Coach SDRs on prospecting techniques, messaging, and tools to maximize productivity and results
  • Leverage data-driven insights to track performance, identify bottlenecks, and refine strategies
  • Partner with Account Executives and leadership to ensure seamless handoffs and a unified approach to revenue generation
  • Lead by example with hands-on involvement in prospecting and lead engagement during the early stages

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within sales development, with a track record of building and scaling high-performing teams
  • Exceptional ability to coach, motivate, and inspire SDRs to exceed goals
  • Expertise in modern sales tech stacks (e.g., HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clay, Apollo)
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and iterate quickly
  • A passion for creating and executing innovative outbound sales strategies
