Doxel is hiring a Schedule Insights Manager to help our clients leverage our automated progress tracking software to build data centers faster. This role will help clients make better scheduling decisions and accelerate our mission to ensure every decision on a construction site is a great one. Construction is the 2nd largest industry in the world (4x the size of SaaS!). But unlike software (with observability platforms such as AppDynamics and Datadog), construction teams lack automated feedback loops to help projects stay on schedule and on budget. Without this observability, construction wastes a whopping $3T per year because glitches aren’t detected fast enough to recover. Your job is to help our customers use Doxel to improve their scheduling decisions. If they’re late, help them recover faster. If they have too much buffer in their schedule, help them identify it faster. If our data shows too many schedule risks, warn them early and help them deliver faster. Our customers have a need for speed!
What You'll Do
Act as a consultant to key clients, embed with their project team, analyze schedules using Doxel's progress data, and make recommendations on how to accelerate construction
Listen to customer feedback and manage our production operations team as they create executive reports, Power BI dashboards, and other data sources to fit Doxel data into existing customer workflows
Represent the customer in every decision we make
Collaborate closely with product managers, engineering, customer success and operations to prioritize features, bug fixes, and process improvements
Write memos narrating updates and make recommendations to our customers’ C-suite
Present Doxel data and building schedule recommendations to customers
Understand how customer's building projects are built and visit project sites, to understand what our data is representing - health benefits for the role include steel-toed boots (gotta protect that pinky toe on a construction site)!
What You'll Bring to the Team
3+ years of experience scheduling in P6 on complex commercial construction projects both creating the schedule before the project and updating throughout
Strong understanding of how construction teams work with p6 schedules and short-interval plans
Experience presenting to executives, general contractors, owners and their business units
Strong math skills with the ability to identify critical path by hand, develop algorithms, and discuss the challenges of many:many mappings as well as propose solutions to customers
The ability to work closely with clients and internal teams to identify patterns in customer requests then develop and standardize new reports
