The team SAP Business Technology Plattform (BTP) Center has the focus to provide a stable SAP BTP environment ant to build value-adding Apps on SAP Business Technology Platforms while considering UX Standardization.

Your Job

What this role looks like.

• Support and further develop the database and backend within the ALDI SOUTH SAP Business Technology Platform Center
• Support the establishment of SAP (custom) GenAI solution development expertise within the ALDI SOUTH SAP Business Technology Platform Center
• Deliver and drive high quality and best practices in our engineering community by discussing innovative solution approaches and suggestions for improvement in the area of development
• Support the feasibility check on proposed upcoming GenAI products
• Work in an agile business environment with cross-disciplinary teams
• Implement scalable (custom) SAP GenAI products utilising the various services offered by the SAP BTP to promote data-driven developments, efficiency and business value
• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable code by contributing to product-oriented software delivery, ensuring scalability and resilience to failure

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in software development and/or data science, preferably with SAP BTP
• High proficiency in software development using SQL, Python, Java, JavaScript and/or similar programming languages
• Ideally, experience working in a DevOps environment and/or with CRISP DM
• Good communication skills as well as the ability to present complex issues in a simple and concise manner
• Solution-oriented working style and a quick grasp of complex challenges paired with an analytical and methodical approach
• Knowledge of further programming frameworks, such as NodeJS or UI5, and regarding libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib/Seaborn/Plotly, LangChain/LlamaIndex/Hugging Face are a plus
• Familiarity with Git and/or CI/CD in a GitLab environment are a plus
• Fluent English language skills
