Job Summary:

The Sales Operations and Commission Analyst plays a crucial role in assisting to optimize sales processes, ensuring accurate commission calculations, and providing data-driven insights to support business decisions. This role involves working closely with Sales Operations and Finance to streamline workflows, enhance sales efficiency, and maintain transparency in incentive programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Operations - Analytical Support:

  • Maintain and update CRM (e.g., Salesforce) data to ensure accuracy and consistency in sales records

  • Assist with onboarding new hires, Salesforce dashboard creations

  • Generate and analyze sales reports in Salesforce to track bookings and Salesforce opportunity hygiene

  • Identify areas for process improvement and work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.

Commission & Incentive - Analytical Support:

  • Assist Sales Operations on any manual processing of commission calculations ensuring compliance and accuracy of the compensation plans

  • Validate sales performance data, identify discrepancies, and work with finance and/or Payroll and HR to resolve issues

  • Work with Sales Operations on any commission inquiries from team that need to be reviewed, recalculated and submitted for manual adjustments 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in sales operations, sales finance, or commission administration.

  • This person needs to be located in India OR Pakistan


Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce)

  • Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data visualization).

  • Familiarity with commission calculation software (e.g., CaptivateIQ or similar) is a plus

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in SaaS, tech, or a high-growth sales environment.

  • Understanding of sales incentive structures and best practices.

  • Ability to work with large datasets and provide actionable insights.
