This Role
As a Sales Engineer you will be responsible for supporting our Account Executives in our sales process. No task is too big or too small for you - whether it’s making a deck for a CEO meeting or scheduling follow ups and demos, you are laser focused on doing whatever is needed to ensure our AEs are successful in their efforts to win new business. You will build decks, analyze results, coordinate POCs, and draft meeting agendas. You will follow up where needed and spend 1:1 time with clients as required. You will attend client meetings in person and facilitate effective presentations and discussions. You will take careful notes on all calls in order to ensure that feedback from our clients is being effectively surfaced. You will act as the initial point of contact for security inquiries, guiding clients to useful resources, and escalating complex issues to the right teams. Finally, you will develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, user guides, and FAQs encountered during the pre-sales process.

  • Analytical and curious. Listen carefully to clients and understand their needs in order to be able to map out next steps effectively. 
  • Organized and effective. Be highly organized and detail oriented, and strive for perfection in your communications and presentation. 

Skills & Experience - Core

  • 3+ years of work experience. 
  • Experience working alongside AEs selling Enterprise SaaS platforms, ideally as a Sales Engineer. 
  • Willingness to learn a large amount of novel information in order to gain a degree of mastery over complex regulatory topics, as well as to understand a new software platform. 
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated success ensuring that internal processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Skills & Experience - Pluses

  • Exposure to legal and regulatory concepts (i.e. through your educational background, as a paralegal, working at a regulatory technology/legaltech company). 
  • Experience with AI systems. 
  • Experience with AI Agents.
What Success Looks Like
30 daysYou are able to perform a full end-to-end Norm Ai demo in a POC context. 
60 daysYou are working alongside our Account Executives and helping them materially advance customer opportunities. You are able to identify regulatory frameworks applicable to certain scenarios. You have mastered all of our existing collateral. You have designed custom demos in a highly independent manner. 
90 daysYou are anticipating the needs of our Account Executives. You have improved our sales process and collateral through thoughtful contributions.
