Your mission

  • Develop and optimize simulation environments for UAV and robotic systems using ROS2, Gazebo, AirSim, and CARLA
  • Design and implement real-time physics-based models for sensor fusion, navigation, and autonomous decision-making
  • Integrate multi-agent swarm simulations to test UAV coordination, path planning, and obstacle avoidance algorithms
  • Develop HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) and SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) testing environments for UAV performance validation
  • Optimize ROS2 middleware (DDS, ZeroMQ, gRPC) for real-time UAV simulation and communication
  • Implement AI-powered scenario generation for UAV defense, electronic warfare, and adversarial testing
  • Work with sensor simulation models (Radar, Lidar, EO/IR, RF, Acoustic) to enhance UAV perception training
  • Collaborate with AI, embedded, and autonomy teams to improve real-world UAV deployment accuracy

Your profile

  • 3+ years experience in ROS/ROS2 simulation, robotics, or autonomous system testing
  • Expertise in Gazebo, AirSim, CARLA, Webots, or Unity-based robotic simulation
  • Proficiency in C++, Python, or Rust for ROS2 simulation and real-time UAV modeling
  • Experience with sensor modeling, multi-agent systems, and UAV swarm behavior simulation
  • Strong knowledge of robot kinematics, physics engines (ODE, Bullet, MuJoCo), and real-time communication (DDS, MQTT)
  • Familiarity with UAV dynamics, autonomous navigation, and reinforcement learning for robotics
Nice to have
  • Experience in military-grade UAV simulation, adversarial AI testing, or synthetic training environments
  • Background in cloud-based distributed simulation for large-scale UAV testing
  • Knowledge of AI-driven scenario generation, reinforcement learning for autonomous UAVs, and synthetic sensor data generation
