A modern digital bank is seeking a Risk Data Science Manager to develop and oversee risk models and machine learning algorithms that will drive strategic business initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Build databases, conduct exploratory data analysis, design sampling methods, and select variables and models to create optimal risk models or machine learning algorithms.
• Monitor and report on risk model performance.
• Identify and report on emerging and changing risk factors.
• Document all studies and findings related to risk models, including performance validation and risk factor oversight.
• Engage in discussions about the development, monitoring, and validation of risk models.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, or a related field (MBA is a plus!)
• 5+ years of experience in risk modelling within the banking or financial services sector preferred
• Proficient in R, Python, SAS, or SPSS
• Strong skills in documentation and technical writing

Work Setup: Hybrid (3 days on-site)
