MISSION

We offer a 6-month duration internship as of February 2025.
In this role, you will implement state-of-the-art machine learning approaches in a luxury goods manufacturing context.

RESPONSABILITIES

In close collaboration with the R&I Automation and Machine Vision team, under the responsibility of your internship supervisor, your main responsibilities will be to:

- Explore state-of-the-art models for industrial vision.

- Define metrics and evaluate model performances across transversal tasks with real datasets from the luxury goods industry.

- Explore transfer-learning and self-supervised methods for the improvement of observed performances.

- Integrate these methods into the Richemont MLOps ecosystem.

- Tightly interact with R&I teams and teams from other Richemont’s Maisons & Manufactures.

- Collaborate with the rest of the team on related projects.

PROFILE

You are a student in engineering sciences, master’s degree level, with skills in: data science, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, statistics, Python (mandatory), Git.

Knowledge in optics and cloud computing would be appreciated.

Proactive, autonomous, fast learning and target-oriented, you like new challenges. You enjoy teamwork & possess very good communication skills.

Fluent in English, you have a good command of French.

You are interested in the luxury goods industry.

Having a driving licence would be appreciated.

Based mainly in Buttes, on the premises of the Manufacture Hologère ValFleureir, you will also have the opportunity to rub shoulders with colleagues from other research sectors within our hub located in Microcity, Neuchâtel.
