Are you ready to join a game-changing open-source AI platform that harnesses the power of hybrid cloud to drive innovation?
The Red Hat OpenShift AI team is looking for a Senior Engineer with Kubernetes and MLOps (Machine Learning Operations) experience to join our rapidly growing engineering team. Our focus is to create a platform, partner ecosystem, and community by which enterprise customers can solve problems to accelerate business success using AI. This is a very exciting opportunity to build and impact the next generation of MLOps platforms, participate in open source communities, contribute to the development of the OpenShift AI product, and be at the forefront of the exciting evolution of AI. You’ll join an ecosystem that fosters continuous learning, career growth, and professional development.
You will be contributing as a core engineer for the OpenShift AI Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) team. In this role, you will design and build infrastructure and developer tooling that accelerates the adoption of RAG on OpenShift AI. You’ll contribute to enabling scalable, production-grade pipelines that integrate vector databases, embedding models, and language models with Kubernetes-native resources. This includes developing SDKs and APIs to simplify RAG solution development within familiar environments like Jupyter Notebooks, streamlining data ingestion, retrieval and orchestration. As a core contributor, you’ll collaborate closely with other engineers, product teams, and upstream communities to create a cohesive, cloud-native platform for enterprise AI innovation. A passion for open-source development and systems thinking is key to success in this role.
