About The Role
We are seeking Registered Dietitians (RDs) with multiple state licenses to join our network of world-class clinicians delivering virtual care. This role will support one of our healthcare company partners to virtually treat adult patients in collaboration with our clinical team. You will have ongoing support from Unified Vision’s clinical leadership and administrative team so you can focus on what you do best and deliver quality virtual care to patients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct weekly counseling sessions with patients using an evidence-based and patient-centric approach to care.
  • Demonstrate strong clinical and counseling skills, leading with empathy and kindness.
  • Help patients get to the root of their health concerns to create sustainable behavior changes rather than taking a short-term fix approach.
  • Serve patients with high standards of personal and professional integrity and ethics, with the ability to practice a high level of confidentiality.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge and experience in nutrition counseling approaches and modalities.
  • Complete session documentation (including clinical notes, patient communication, and care team follow-up messages) in a timely manner.
  • Stay up to date on current nutrition topics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Active Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • Licensed in one or more of the following states - NY, CA, IL, OH, PA, FL, TX, GA.
  • A National Provider Identifier (NPI).
  • Business liability insurance (or we will provide you with insurance).
  • Experience working with culturally diverse patients remotely via telehealth platforms.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with your patients.
  • Adaptability to quickly learn new methods and systems.
