Join the Epidemiology team within Alexion-AstraZeneca Rare Disease Unit, where we drive the scientific use of Real World Data to accelerate patient access to innovative medicines. As a Data Scientist, you will focus on Real World Data Science applications supporting our rare disease portfolio. AstraZeneca has a rich history in Real World Evidence, and we are now amplifying those investments through a dedicated Real World Data Science capability. In this role, you will tackle challenging problems and use innovative approaches to deliver Real World Insights and Evidence for key stakeholders, emphasizing Clinical Development, Regulatory, and Patient Safety applications.
The ideal candidate will be a curious self-learner with a proven track record of delivering value from routinely collected healthcare data or observational studies. You will provide health analytics and insights in various contexts, including Public Health, Pharmaceutical Research and Development, and Commercial/Payer and Patient Safety.
