You Are:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Rapid Prototyping Lead with full-stack development expertise to spearhead the development of innovative AI solutions within our Data & AI practice. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise and leadership abilities to guide a team of talented engineers in the rapid prototyping and iteration of cutting-edge AI models and applications. Your ability to translate complex business requirements into functional, end-to-end prototypes will be crucial in showcasing the value of AI to our clients and driving our practice forward. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at managing lean, high-performing teams to deliver exceptional results quickly and efficiently.
Responsibilities & Demonstrated Capabilities:
- Lead and mentor: Guide a team of engineers in the design, development, and testing of AI prototypes. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within a fast-paced environment.
- Rapid prototyping: Utilize agile methodologies to quickly translate concepts and ideas into functional prototypes, with a focus on delivering tangible results in short iterations.
- Full-stack development: Possess a strong command of both front-end and back-end technologies to build complete and functional prototypes that showcase the user experience and technical capabilities of AI solutions.
- Technical expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, including deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and data engineering.
- Technology selection: Evaluate and select the most appropriate tools and technologies for prototyping, considering factors such as performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, business analysts, and software engineers, to gather requirements, integrate prototypes, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Communication: Effectively communicate technical concepts and progress updates to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay ahead of the curve: Continuously research and experiment with emerging AI technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Lean team management: Build and manage small, high-performing teams optimized for rapid development and efficient execution. Motivate and empower team members to deliver exceptional results under tight deadlines.
Here’s What You Need:
- Proven experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience in building and deploying AI/ML models, with a focus on rapid prototyping and iterative development.
- Full-stack proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React, Angular) and back-end technologies (e.g., Python, Node.js, databases).
- Technical proficiency: Strong programming skills in Python and experience with relevant AI/ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Cloud computing: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services.
- Agile development: Experience working in an agile environment and applying agile principles to prototyping.
- Leadership skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment, especially in a fast-paced setting.
- Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Problem-solving: A creative problem-solver with a passion for innovation and a drive to deliver high-quality results.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

- Experience with MLOps practices and tools.
- Contributions to open-source AI projects.
- Experience with data visualization and storytelling.

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. $160,700—$306,500 USD
