We are a dynamic start-up building a CAD web application using React. As part of our commitment to delivering a high-quality product, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer. Initially, you will focus on creating and maintaining end-to-end tests using Playwright, ensuring robust visual and functional testing. Over time, your role will expand to include designing and implementing unit tests and a comprehensive testing strategy.

Tasks

  • Develop and maintain end-to-end tests using Playwright for functional and visual testing.
  • Collaborate with developers to identify test requirements and create automated test scripts.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive testing plan, including unit, integration, and regression testing.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues uncovered during testing, providing detailed feedback to the development team.
  • Monitor and improve test coverage across the application.
  • Establish testing best practices and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Support scalability and performance testing as the application grows.
  • Regularly review and update test cases to align with new features and changes.

Requirements

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proven experience with automated testing frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, etc.).

  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and familiarity with React-based applications.

  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha).

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating testing tools.

  • Familiarity with CAD tools or domain knowledge is a significant plus.

  • Background in performance and scalability testing.

  • Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with developers and other team members.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
