We're on the lookout for a QA Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of the shipping industry, particularly in the realm of autonomous ships.

Our technology empowers Captains and Officers on the bridge with real-time, accurate environmental data, enabling them to make critical decisions confidently. By harnessing AI and innovative tools alongside existing infrastructure, we're charting a new course in marine transportation.

Here's what you'll be responsible for:

  • Crafting test plans.
  • Investigating software issues through testing, covering Linux devices running Docker images and cloud services.
  • Developing and executing test automation scripts.
  • Collaborating closely with other QA engineers, software developers, and the product team to devise effective solutions.
  • Staying updated with the latest industry advancements.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience as a QA engineer.
  • Demonstrated expertise in drafting test plans and testing software on Linux and cloud platforms, including utilizing REST API.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Linux environments and bash scripting skills.
  • Extensive experience testing complex systems.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment.
  • Proficiency in using GitLab, building pipelines with Jenkins, or similar tools.
  • Experience with Bug management tools such as Jira.
  • Experience working in an agile/Scrum environment.

Desired Traits:

  • Proficiency in Python
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and application services, particularly in AWS
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • "Can-do" attitude, team player, with outstanding communication skills.

Advantages:

  • Experience with microservices architecture, Rest API.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software development, or a related field.

 Hybrid - 4 days a week in the office
