We are looking for an experienced QA automation Lead to drive the quality assurance efforts for our business platform. This person will work closely with developers to ensure a seamless transition from development to production, and will be responsible for proposing, implementing, and onboarding teams to new QA models and testing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the quality assurance strategy for our business platform, ensuring high standards across all development and release processes;
  • Identify critical points in the current testing processes, address quality gaps, and integrate a unified testing framework to reduce the risk and cost of bugs, release issues, and incidents;
  • Organize and oversee the implementation of End-to-End (E2E) testing layers across multiple development teams, ensuring consistent and thorough coverage;
  • Drive the adoption of automation within teams, staying abreast of current industry trends and ensuring the team is equipped with the latest tools and methodologies;
  • Advocate for quality practices across the organization, ensuring that the importance of quality assurance is recognized and prioritized in all development and release activities.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Proven experience in leading quality assurance efforts, including both manual and automated testing, with a strong focus on complex business platforms;
  • Deep knowledge of test automation frameworks, tools, and practices, with hands-on experience in implementing and managing automated testing environments;
  • Strong expertise in designing and executing End-to-End (E2E) testing strategies across multiple teams, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and high product quality;
  • Proficient in scripting and coding for test automation, with knowledge of relevant languages and technologies;
  • Up-to-date understanding of current trends and best practices in QA, testing, and software development, with the ability to apply these to improve testing processes;
  • Ability to identify critical issues in testing processes, develop effective solutions, and optimize the overall quality assurance strategy;
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing, mentoring, and developing QA teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, team leads, and senior management.
