About The Kirby Institute:

Why Your Role Matters:
The Project Officer (Large Language Model engineer) will assist in Natural Language Processing, prompt engineering, building large language models (LLM) and evaluation of output from infectious diseases-related LLMs. This will involve iterative application of prompt engineering, testing and training techniques as applied to LLMs (e.g. GPT-4) based on systematic evaluation of data collected from social media.
Areas of evaluation will include broad areas of health-related sentiment analysis, health-related disinformation, textual entailment, and information extraction.
This position reports to GIS Engineer within the Biosecurity Program and has no direct reports.
