Job Purpose:
The Programmer Analyst 4 - AI Developer is responsible for the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of the GCP Document AI application used for processing vital records at MDHHS. This role requires a skilled individual in programming and cloud technologies to enhance the stability and functionality of the system, ensuring data integrity and compliance.

Requirements

• Maintain and enhance the Document AI solution, ensuring streamlined business processes and data integrity.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams within the department.
• Participate in analytical assignments to enhance, integrate, and maintain project implementations.
• Ensure the implementation of changes follows SEM/SUITE compliance and secures the applications.
• Develop and oversee large datasets, implementing data preprocessing and analysis techniques.
• Design and deploy AI and machine learning solutions, including OCR and NLP tools.
• Manage and optimize chatbot applications and interfaces across various platforms.

Required Technical Experience and Qualifications:

• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, and C++.
• Strong experience with data processing tools like SQL, R, and Pandas.
• Extensive experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Scikit-learn in machine learning applications.
• Familiarity with OCR technologies like Tesseract, Google Vision API, or AWS Textract.
• Experience in building and managing solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including familiarity with Google Cloud Functions, App Engine, and Firestore.
• Proficient in the use of Dialogflow and other Google Cloud AI tools for chatbot development.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies and experience in cloud computing with platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in related technical fields.
