Genesys is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Manager/Technical Coordinator to join our IT Enterprise Architecture team. This role will oversee cross-functional AI initiatives, driving project success across various teams, including data science, engineering, product, and business units. This role requires a strong blend of technical acumen, project management expertise, and a deep understanding of AI applications to coordinate and streamline AI projects effectively. The ideal candidate will ensure alignment across departments, manage resources, and ensure project milestones are met within scope, time, and budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of AI projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain project roadmaps, timelines, and milestones.

  • Act as the central point of contact for cross-functional teams, including data science, engineering, product, and business stakeholders.

  • Coordinate resources and manage dependencies across teams to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Facilitate communication and foster collaboration between technical and non-technical team members.

  • Provide technical direction and insights on AI-related projects, acting as a liaison between technical and business teams.

  • Ensure teams are leveraging best practices in AI model development, data management, and integration.

  • Help identify technical challenges and coordinate solutions with relevant stakeholders.

  • Establish and maintain regular communication channels with stakeholders to provide project updates and gather feedback.

  • Prepare and deliver project status reports, dashboards, and presentations to senior management.

  • Identify and communicate project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively and develop mitigation plans.

  • Work with team leads to allocate resources effectively and manage project budgets.

  • Track expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure projects are completed within budget.

  • Implement project management best practices and continuously seek improvements in project workflows.

  • Develop templates, guidelines, and processes to optimize coordination and project efficiency.

Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field. Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.

  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management, preferably within AI, data science, or software engineering.

  • Proven track record in managing cross-functional technical projects, ideally involving AI or machine learning.

  • Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, with the ability to communicate effectively with data scientists and engineers.

  • Familiarity with AI project lifecycle and tools.

  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project) and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams).

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities, handle ambiguity, and work under tight deadlines.

  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management.

  • Experience working in an agile environment.

  • Knowledge of data privacy, compliance, and ethical considerations in AI projects.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, OpenAI) for AI projects.

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.  

$108,150.00 - $212,250.00
