Responsibilities:

As a Program Manager, Procurement AI & Digital Transformation (Category Management and Autonomous Sourcing), you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of Category Management AI solutions to reduce manual effort in creating category strategies. You will focus on implementing and scaling autonomous sourcing solutions and sourcing optimization initiatives. You will be at the intersection of innovative AI technology and practical supply chain solutions, driving progressive changes and delivering value to the organization. You will work closely with collaborators, vendors, and the IT development team to define the solution vision, roadmap, and implementation plan. Additionally, you will supervise the product lifecycle, from conceptualization to launch and beyond, ensuring seamless integration and continuous improvement.

  • Develop and execute a roadmap for AI-driven procurement initiatives related to category management, category strategy development and sourcing optimization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI integration and drive digital transformation in procurement processes.

  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI tools and technologies to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Partner with IT to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions with existing systems and infrastructure.          

  • Work closely with supplier managers to translate their requirements into meaningful AI-driven solutions.

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery of AI and digital transformation projects.

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of AI solutions, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Provide training and support to procurement teams on the use of AI tools and technologies.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in AI and digital transformation to drive innovation in procurement practices.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the procurement team.

  • Manage solution providers and other 3rd parties to implement AI technology, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines and overall procurement AI Roadmap.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Experience in category management, category strategy development, eSourcing and sourcing optimization.
  • Able to work with cross-functional teams,
  • Proficiency in using AI, GenAI tools and technologies for procurement processes.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation skills to manage relationship and agreements with third-party vendors.
