As a Global Procurement team member, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic projects and/or programs. You will work with key internal stakeholders to build trusted partnerships while analyzing data to realize distinct and measurable benefits for the organizations. These benefits can include cost savings, process improvements, or securing the materials required for Micron’s manufacturing and non-manufacturing locations. Your responsibilities will also include benchmarking and problem solving to develop a cohesive, best-in-class plan.

Process Transformation/Improvement

  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of Intelligent Automation Workflows and technologies to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery of AI and digital transformation projects.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the procurement team.
  • Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to identify business needs and opportunities for Automation/AI applications.
  • Analyzing data to identify patterns and insights that can be used to improve automation processes.
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation for AI projects, including requirements and user manuals.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with latest market trends and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to encourage and persuade others to adopt the change required for a successful implementation of the project.

You are Strong Candidate If You Are:

  • Agile in adopting new tools and ways of working towards improved business outcomes.
  • Well-versed in project and program management methodologies and frameworks.
  • Fluent in using data to make critical decisions and drive results
  • Able to demonstrate strong communication skills to convey complex issues concisely and accurately to all levels
  • Self-motivated, driven individual who is comfortable working in a global, fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • BTech and MS/MBA degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Automation/AI or Machine learning technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, geographically distributed and dynamic environment.
  • Experience with business applications for procurement and supply chain like SAP, Ariba is preferred.
