About the role: 

We are seeking a proactive, data-driven, and detail-oriented Product Specialist to join us as a founding member of the Product Specialist org. This role will focus on driving product excellence for core features including live audio, video, chat, room creation and management, and an emerging suite of AI safety mechanisms.

At Cantina, Product Specialists serve as the voice to-and-from product, ensuring the successful launch, performance monitoring, and ongoing support of our most strategically important features. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, QA, Community and Marketing to drive product readiness, monitor key data and user feedback, and support successful go-to-market strategies to ensure the long-term success of your core product area.

A bit about the work:

Go-to-Market Support:

  • Collaborate with product management and marketing teams to support Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive internal Confluence feature documentation.

  • Design detailed test plans and coordinate with QA to resolve launch-blocking bugs.

  • Train external-facing teams (community, marketing) on key product features.

  • Publish user-friendly Help Center articles for end-users to facilitate product adoption.

Data-Driven Insights:

  • Set up reports and dashboards to monitor key product performance metrics.

  • Collect, synthesize, and prioritize user feedback to identify trends and areas of improvement.

  • Analyze user feedback and usage data to derive actionable insights that inform product roadmap decisions.

Issue Resolution:

  • Act as a primary point of contact for product-related inquiries and support requests

  • Collaborate with Eng & QA teams to quickly diagnose and resolve critical bugs 

  • Manage feature outages by detecting issues, coordinating resolution efforts, and communicating updates to stakeholders

A bit about You: 

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience

  • 3+ years of experience in a product specialist, ops, analytics, or similar role

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of qualitative and quantitative data with accuracy.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms to derive insights (e.g., Looker, SQL, Google Analytics)

  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively

Location:

We have offices located in Sunnyvale, CA, San Francisco, CA and Brooklyn, NY. While we have a strong focus on individuals near our office hubs, we offer fully remote and hybrid employment opportunities.

Pay Equity:

In compliance with Pay Transparency Laws, the base salary range for this role is between $110,000-$135,000 for those located in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, and Seattle, WA. When determining compensation, a number of factors will be considered, including skills, experience, job scope, location, and competitive compensation market data.
