Akamai, the company powering and protecting life online, is seeking a highly motivated, experienced and self-driven Product Technical Enablement Architect to join our Product Management group, focusing on our innovative Zero Trust solutions. You will be key to accelerating revenue by enabling our technical pre-sales teams to expertly position and sell our cutting-edge technology.
As a Product Technical Enablement Architect, you will:
- Providing continuous, clear updates to the technical pre-sales community through regular webinars, internal knowledge base articles, and dedicated communication channels on roadmap, product lifecycle, and key technical information such as release/feature limitations, and customers’ deployments insights.
- Collaborating with Product Management and Product Marketing to create and deliver impactful sales training and technical content highlighting Akamai’s Zero Trust portfolio value and competitive advantages.
- Serving as the primary technical contact for Sales Engineers, providing expert guidance on complex customer/prospects inquiries and RFI/RFP.
- Analyzing feature requests, proposing workarounds, and communicating field feedback to Product Management.
- Guiding field teams in designing solutions for complex POCs and strategic deals, ensuring product alignment. Collaborate with QA and Support and provide guidance for enhancing their respective processes based on POCs analysis and field insights.
- Developing and maintaining compelling product demos with TME (Technical Marketing Engineering) and SE collaboration to showcase Akamai ESG portfolio’s value, features, and use cases.

You'll be at the forefront of our technical strategy, collaborating with product and engineering teams to ensure our field is equipped for sLead and manage multiple complex projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements.uccess.To be successful, you will have:
- Have 5+ years experience in presales / sales engineering / solution architecture, product management, professional services, customer success, or technical marketing role in cybersecurity, demanding deep technical expertise.
- Have strong understanding of Zero Trust principles, products (microsegmentation, ZTNA), and cybersecurity technologies and solutions.
- Have solid knowledge of datacenter security technologies (servers, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, endpoint security) and networking principles (TCP/IP, TLS/SSL).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, container orchestration (Kubernetes) and cloud security concepts.
- Be proficiency in professional development skills: presentations, pitching, negotiation and consulting..
- Be an analytical problem-solving, team collaboration, and customer-focused skills.
- Have proven adaptability and proactivity in fast-paced environments. .
- Have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Relevant cybersecurity certifications (eg. CISSP) are a plus.
