This is your role
As a Product Owner in our AI Center of Excellence, you serve as the primary contact for AI initiatives at PostNL. You guide business units and technical teams in identifying and implementing AI solutions that align with PostNL’s strategic objectives. These solutions may include predictive models for optimizing processes or SaaS applications integrated with our enterprise architecture to enhance the existing landscape.

With a results-driven mindset and strong organizational skills, you bring structure, foster collaboration, track progress, and ensure compliance with ethical standards such as GDPR and the AI Act. Your critical thinking enables you to uncover the underlying needs behind requests and deliver clear, actionable solutions.

You are also actively involved in operationalizing AI solutions. You analyze how emerging technologies, such as generative AI, can add value and guide Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to Minimum Viable Products (MVPs). You work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth integration of AI solutions into our systems.
 

Your colleagues
You will join the AI Center of Excellence (CoE) at PostNL, a diverse team of data scientists, cloud engineers and AI strategists, supported by AI ethicists. Together, we form a hub for AI innovation, collaborating closely with business units to successfully implement AI solutions.

• Salary between €5.047 and €7.338 gross per month (scale 12) for 37 hours per week.

You are analytically strong, results-oriented, and a natural connector. Additionally, you recognize yourself in the following:

• HBO/University work and thinking level.
• At least three years of experience in AI project management or as a Product Owner.
• Knowledge of AI technologies (e.g., Machine Learning, GenAI, Statistics, Operations Research), GDPR, and ethical guidelines.
• Experience with stakeholder management and SaaS integrations.
• A proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
