Position Title: Product Manager, Data Science and Analytics (LSC, OSC, SSC)

Position Summary
The Data Science & Analytics team at JetBlue is an integral part of the IT Data organization which reports directly to the Chief Digital & Technology Officer due to the strategic importance of Data at JetBlue. The Data Science & Analytics team consists of Operations Data Science (ODS), Commercial Data Science (CDS), Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML) engineering, and Business Intelligence teams operating in a center-of-excellence model reporting to the Vice President, Data Science & Analytics. The teams develop advanced Data products and insights for all cross-functional teams at JetBlue including up/cross-skilling the internal analyst community.
The Product Manager, Data Science and Analytics is responsible for the product strategy for JetBlue’s Data Science and Analytics teams. The Product Manager will work closely with JetBlue’s diverse business units and technical teams across ODS, CDS, AI & ML and Business Intelligence to guide the success of product(s) using relevant Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics. The Product Manager will also serve as an internal expert on JetBlue’s Data Science and Analytics offerings, and ensure that the team effectively and continuously expands upon its value-add products. This position will develop, facilitate and promote effective product management techniques for successful product adoption using quantitative metrics and qualitative feedback.
Essential Responsibilities
Serve as a liaison between the IT Data Science & Analytics team and business stakeholders to understand their data needs, determine prioritization of data product development, and review current/approaching releases
Gather business & functional requirements, build roadmaps, and write great documentation for product features that need to be developed and data needs of the products
Maintain a rolling twelve-month roadmap in collaboration with business stakeholders to ensure that prioritized capabilities are being delivered in a consistent and timely manner
Write monthly communications to the JetBlue's analyst community, alerting them of new features and builds
Identify and track Product KPI metrics that are met to ensure the IT Data Science & Analytics teams deliver continuous improvement
Facilitate “proof-of-concept” projects (POCs) to enhance the modern Data Science & Analytics technology stack, ensuring that each POC is fully maximized
Participate in User Acceptance Testing to ensure end products meet the business vision
Be comfortable presenting to large groups –EAD (valid 2025& expressing ideas in public settings with high visibility
Be a strong advocate for a culture of process and Analytical opportunities across development and stakeholder teams
Follow an agile development methodology including Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) framework
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in AI and ML and identify opportunities for the team to implement new models and technologies
Take a significant role in the development of crewmembers to support their engagement, growth, and goal achievement

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least one (1) years of previous relevant work experience
One (1) years of relevant experience in a Data role working with Data Science, Machine Learning and Business Intelligence tools
Knowledge of standard Data Science and Machine Learning technology stack
Knowledge of budget processes and ability to manage and track large project budgets
Excellent problem solving and structured thinking skills
Proven experience with a Data Warehouse, Data Science and/or Business Intelligence platform
Strong Structured Query Language (SQL) skills
Available for overnight travel (10%)
Must pass a pre-employment drug test
Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
Advanced degree in computer science or a quantitative discipline
Two (2) years of relevant industry and management experience
One (1) years of relevant experience in managing the successful launch of Data Science, Machine Learning and/or Business Intelligence products using KPI metrics and product usage dashboards
Experience with developing product roadmaps, evaluating product-market fit, organizing user workshops, planning product launches, developing change management frameworks and maintaining product KPI metrics
Demonstrates a strong knowledge of technology trends; industry background
Prior Data Science or Analytics experience

Regular attendance and punctuality
Potential need to work flexible hours (including nights & weekends) and be available to respond on short-notice
Able to maintain a professional appearance
When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable Crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

Compensation:
The base pay range for this position is between $100,00.00 and $128,600.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
