Meet the team:

The Procurement team is responsible for ensuring that Latitude’s engagements with third parties are conducted in an efficient, responsible and compliant manner. This includes engaging with, negotiating and contracting with suppliers to acquire goods and services in light of the best total cost of ownership; monitoring supplier performance, supporting compliance with business protocols; and leveraging technologies to support a streamlined, efficient Procurement Function. The role of the Procurement Contract Coordinator I/II will primarily be to support the day-to-day purchase-to-pay (P2P) process ensuring that stakeholder requests for goods and services are processed timely and supplier payments are correctly posted by working with Accounts Payable. The role will also support various other P2P monitoring and improvement projects (e.g. 1099 reporting, Open PO monitoring, and Supplier Catalog maintenance) and Contract Management.

This is a 3-month contract position, starting in November 2024. 

What you’ll do: 

  • Manage and process stakeholder purchase requests through the use of a purchasing credit card 
  • Enter purchase orders in NetSuite after ensuring appropriate documentation and approvals have been provided
  • Onboard new suppliers into our ERP system
  • Responsible for on-going vendor master data maintenance
  • Support Procurement purchase-to-pay (P2P) efficiency projects with oversight from leadership
  • Create and process Non-Disclosure Agreements
  • Manage any backlog of open purchase orders or open invoices, and work with stakeholders to resolve any issues 
  • Create ad hoc reports and analyze data for leadership 
  • Upload agreements into the contract management system and add applicable metadata tags 
  • Support process development and continuous improvement

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree (business administration or related)
    • In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, an Associate’s degree with two years of employment experience or a High School Diploma or GED equivalent with four years of employment experience is required
  • Minimum of at least three years of relevant purchase-to-pay experience 
  • Full understanding of purchase-to-pay processes
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and escalate issues as needed
  • Attention to detail and the ability to read and follow directions 
  • Good oral and written communications skills 
  • Good knowledge of standard office programs (Google Docs, Sheets etc.) 
  • Knowledge of ERP Systems 
  • Juggle multiple threads of work and deliver for the team 
  • Able to work effectively with suppliers and other partners to optimize processes and relationships 
  • Able to take ideas from the team and identify and implement better solutions 
  • Fluent English speaker (written and spoken) 
  • Be knowledgeable of, and ensure compliance to, Latitude’s policies and procedures 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with Procurement Team via Slack and Zoom
  • Ability to work from a computer in an office setting up to 8 hours per day

Nice to have:

  • Master’s Degree 
  • Understanding of Software License Agreements 
  • Knowledge of high technology, robotics, computing or aerospace industries 
  • Moderate understanding of procurement sourcing processes (i.e Source-to-Contract) and associated Procurement best practices (e.g. Supplier Risk Management, Tail Spend Management strategies) and executing programs with minimal supervision
