Microsoft’s AI for Good Lab is seeking a mission-driven Principal Product Manager, AI for Global Challenges to lead the development of AI- and data science-powered solutions that address pressing global challenges. This onsite role at Microsoft’s Redmond campus is ideal for a technically fluent product leader who can bridge AI research, product strategy, and social impact.
As the Principal Product Manager, AI for Global Challenges, you will shape the roadmap for AI tools that support governments, NGOs, and communities in tackling complex societal and environmental issues. Example focus areas may include resilience, climate adaptation, and food security. You’ll collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, interns, and policy experts to ensure solutions are technically robust, user-centric, and ethically grounded.

Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
