About the role:
As a Principal Partner Solutions Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our partner go-to-market strategy, acting as the technical and strategic voice that connects Cresta's AI-powered platform with partners like Five9, Accenture, Google, and other ecosystem players. Your role is both customer-facing and partner-facing: helping prospects understand the joint value of Cresta + partner, and internally guiding teams to shape the right technical narrative across diverse business contexts.
You’ll lead with strong soft skills, grounded in domain expertise and technical fluency, and bring a scrappy, entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving. If you’re excited by working cross-functionally, thinking beyond a single product, and crafting compelling joint stories across industries, this role is for you.
This role will be Remote — Preferred candidates in Eastern or Central Time Zone
Responsibilities:
Own the Technical Partner Narrative
- Deliver impactful presentations on our Services approach and how it supports our broader partner-led strategy.
- Tailor messaging and demos to show how Cresta and partner technologies jointly solve real-world business problems.
- Represent Cresta in co-selling motions, including joint pitches, workshops, and executive conversations.
Translate Complexity into Clarity
- Drive discovery with both partners and prospects to understand use cases across multiple business units (not just contact centers).
- Build compelling solution architectures that highlight the synergy between Cresta and partner ecosystems.
Lead Technical Validation
- Support partner-influenced deals through demos, proof-of-value engagements, and ROI workshops.
- Educate partners on how to position and technically validate Cresta alongside their own services and platforms.
Bridge Field and Product
- Gather feedback from the field—customers, partners, and internal stakeholders—to inform product roadmap and packaging decisions.
- Influence our services strategy to better align with partner delivery models.
Evangelize Internally and Externally
- Be a champion for partner success across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.
- Train and enable internal SEs and partner teams on our joint value proposition to reduce repetitiveness in GTM motions.
Qualifications We Value:
- 10+ years in a customer-facing role, with at least 5+ years in technical pre-sales at a high-growth SaaS or AI company
- Experience working with or selling into partner ecosystems (e.g., GSI, BPO, and CCaaS)
- Proven ability to communicate with executive and technical audiences, simplifying complex ideas into business value
- Resourceful, scrappy mindset—comfortable navigating ambiguity, building from scratch, and adapting to shifting priorities
- Passion for storytelling, collaboration, and delivering value beyond a single product view
- Highly organized, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Located in the Eastern or Central Time Zone (or willing to work primarily in those hours)
Perks & Benefits:
- We offer Cresta employees a variety of medical, dental, and vision plans, designed to fit you and your family’s needs
- Flexible vacation time to promote a healthy work-life blend
- Paid parental leave to support you and your family
- Monthly Gym & Phone allowance
- Work from home office stipend to help you succeed in a remote environment
- Lunches and dinners included for in-office employees via Grubhub
