Job Title: Principal Hardware Application Engineer Job Location: Bangalore, India Job ID: AI2342Roles and responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Responsible for supporting customers adopt and optimize machine learning applications targeting SiMa.ai’s MLSoC and ML IP
Assist Customers/Partners with new PCB/Systems design efforts
Guide and support customers through their design cycle from concept to production
Coordinate internally for board design requests from customers and partners
Work on platform qualification and debug requests from customers and partners
Perform thermal and performance analysis for customers and partners
Manage technical support issues within the customer base
Work with partners to support joint solutions for customers as appropriate
Desired background, qualifications, and skills:
BS In Electrical or Electronics or equivalent with 12 years of related work experience, or MS with 8 years of experience minimum
Ability to assist with the PCB initial design, bring up and testing
Ability to Review PCB schematics and Layout (Orcad/Allegro, Altium etc.)
Ability to correlate simulations vs measurements.
Working knowledge of Linux
Experience with Industrial PC/Edge IoT box, Edge Server bring-up
Knowledge of SI/PI to assist in Post Layout Analysis (Tools like HSpice, ADS, Ansys etc.)
Some PCB DFT/DFM knowledge
Linux scripting (Bash, Python etc.)
