The OpportunityAtheneum offers an exciting opportunity to support the Global Life Sciences team to join us during a pivotal growth phase as we transform our Survey business into a fully-fledged commercial operation.In this leadership role, you will have the unique opportunity to shape and execute the strategy for our Global Quantitative Life Sciences (LS) business, striking a balance between internal team development and external client engagement. A successful candidate will lead the charge in elevating the Atheneum quant offering, upskilling the team, and building strong relationships with clients and prospects globally.This role is ideal for an empathetic and high-energy leader with proven experience managing commercial teams in the LS space. If you’re passionate about driving transformation, mentoring teams, and delivering results in a fast-paced, evolving environment, we’d love to hear from you.What You’ll Be DoingGlobal Leadership & Strategy• Deliver on the Global LS budget, ensuring revenue targets are achieved.• Collaborate with department heads to develop and execute strategies for exceeding goals.• Design and execute account-specific strategies to meet client needs and drive business growth.Internal Team Development• Upskill and mentor the Global Survey LS team, building expertise in survey methodologies and commercial operations.• Partner with the People team to ensure proper staffing, training, and development initiatives are in place.Client & Business Development• Balance entrepreneurial creativity with operational guardrails to design effective solutions for client challenges.• Actively engage with clients to build strong relationships and drive revenue growth.• Partner with Sales and Services leads to clarify cross-functional roles and ensure alignment across teams.Cross-Functional Collaboration• Work closely with the Expert Sessions (ES) Sales team to build skills, knowledge, and confidence across Atheneum.• Collaborate with Survey peers to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.• Help train broader Sales and Services teams on Survey methods and products to ensure consistent delivery.Job Requirements• 7+ years of experience in Life Sciences (LS) commercial leadership, with quant LS expertise.• Proven track record of building and managing commercial teams, including preferred experience with remote teams.• Strong balance of internal focus (team coaching, training, and process improvement) and external focus (business development, account management, and revenue generation).• Strategic thinker who thrives in environments of organized chaos, maintaining clarity and focus amidst transformation.• Entrepreneurial yet analytical mindset, ensuring creative solutions are backed by operational structure.• Exceptional client-facing skills with a demonstrated ability to build trust and deliver results.What We OfferHere at Atheneum, diversity and inclusion is not just part of our culture, it is ingrained in our DNA.
