About the role

We are looking for an exceptionally talented frontend lead to help us build and ship our AI applications. You will work closely with other engineers across our org, with our design partners, as well as cross-functional stakeholders across the company.

In this role you will:

• Play a leading role in developing our frontend applications, ensuring they deliver value to our users whilst being an absolute joy to use.
• Take responsibility for our frontend architecture, processes, code quality and developer experience.
• Collaborate closely with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure effective processes and rapid delivery.
• Grow and develop the frontend team as well as processes across the engineering org to maintain our fast-paced and positive environment as we continue to grow.
• Uphold and enhance application performance, security standards, and best practices, ensuring our software remains reliable and efficient.

About you

As the ideal candidate, you have a successful career in software engineering to show for. You have managed engineering teams (with a focus on frontend) and you will have been responsible for building large applications with particular emphasis on code architecture; developer experience; scalability and security. This could mean the following experience:

• 8+ years as a software engineer and manager with a particular emphasis on frontend architecture
• A proven track record of shipping innovative software products from conceptualizing and discovery all the way to launch and iterations
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts
• Great managerial track-record -- people follow your lead and you can get the best out of them

In addition, the following would be an advantage:

• Technical acumen with experience in data analysis, machine learning, AI and LLMs is a plus
• Previous experience working in a startup or similarly fast-paced environment
