Job Title: Principal Engineer, AI & Cloud

Job Summary: This position is responsible for building, development and maintenance of Clarios Advanced DEV AI and cloud platform. Be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing AI solutions on cloud platforms, ensuring the efficiency, scalability, and security of the systems.

Report to: Chief Engineer

Key Job Responsibilities: 

• Design and implement AI solutions on cloud platforms, ensuring the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of the system architecture.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams such as data scientists, developers, and operations teams to drive the successful implementation of AI projects.
• Optimize the use of cloud resources to reduce operational costs while ensuring high performance and availability.
• Develop and maintain AI infrastructure, including computing, storage, and networking resources, to support large-scale machine learning and deep learning tasks.
• Ensure the security of the AI cloud platform by implementing best security practices to protect data and system integrity.
• Monitor system performance, identify and resolve potential issues in a timely manner, and continuously improve system performance.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in AI and cloud computing, and introduce innovative technologies to enhance competitiveness.
• Develop documentation and best practices for system architecture and technical processes to ensure knowledge sharing and team collaboration.
• Support the deployment and scaling of AI applications to ensure the system can adapt to growing business needs.

Education/Professional Knowledge

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field
• 5+ Years of Experience in Cloud Architecture, 10+ years on IoV/V2X, IoT, Cloud related development.
• Strong Knowledge of Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Proficiency in using cloud services (such as AWS S3, EC2, RDS, Azure Blob Storage, VMs, SQL Database, GCP Cloud Storage, Compute Engine, SQL) for resource management and optimization.
• Experience with major AI frameworks (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras) and their deployment and optimization in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in data management and processing tools (such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Pandas) to support large-scale data processing and analysis.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes) to achieve continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Familiarity with API development and integration (such as RESTful APIs, GraphQL) to enable data interaction between different systems.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Tools such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.
• Proficiency in Programming Languages (Python, Java, etc.)
• Experience with Containerization and Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills,
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Certifications in Cloud Services (Preferred)
• Experience with Data Pipelines and ETL Processes
• Knowledge of Security Protocols and Compliance
