Principal Consultant - Healthcare  

Fractal is seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Principal Consultant - Healthcare, with the drive to create new solutions for clients utilizing the Fractal's portfolio of products, to lead and expand our Healthcare practice. 

Responsibilities: 

• Own client outcomes across engagements, typically managing multiple projects in parallel and cross-sell new consulting work 

• Construct roadmaps to enable clients’ strategic vision to be realized through the power of AI, Engineering & Design, by working closely with people across levels and communicating effectively 

• Ideating and building on GTM strategy for operational digital transformation (specifically around Intelligent/Cognitive Automation inclusive of RPA, OCR, NLP etc ), building Point of Views (PoVs) and roadmap to package concepts for market positioning across the healthcare value chain. Understand Market progress and gauge from client conversations to drive better opportunities   

• Build the pipeline & drive the operational digital transformation GTM strategy for new prospects 

• Work with clients to understand key business challenges, formulate business problems and lead solution development and delivery on consulting engagements with a team of 3-5 people 

• Successfully juggle the competing demands of multiple client projects simultaneously (including managing time and resources against changing priorities) 

• Leverage ideas across clients and domains to identify new business opportunities, generate revenue & engagement and develop long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders, industry partners, and other external Organisations 

• Provide thought leadership in clients’ business planning sessions, lead proposal and statement of work (SOW) development including defining business objectives, solution approach, scope, deliverables, client responsibilities, staffing roles, pricing, and risk mitigation 

• Build strong relationships with colleagues across sales and other horizontal capability areas and bring the best of Fractal to each client engagement 

• Build a highly engaged team and manage their careers, by inspiring colleagues, creating opportunities, building individuals’ capability, and creating followership 

• Prominent level of commercial acumen & a proven ability to understand and absorb copious amounts of market and business information and develop strong functional solutions incorporating analytics, Engineering for scale & Design thinking  

• Market development experience – the successful candidate will be expected to provide thought leadership in client’s business planning sessions, work with experts comprising big data architects, AIML and advanced analytics modelers to innovate solutions that will best deliver on the client’s business needs 

• Ability to communicate (oral and written) effectively across various levels in the organization 

• Thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on, entrepreneurial environment with an ability to manage change seamlessly 

• Down to earth, low ego personality. Strong negotiating skills combined with talent for diplomacy and genuine “sleeves rolled-up”, lead from the front management style 

• Demonstrated technical acumen across a range of Automation, AI, and Data Engineering tools and platforms, microservices including experience in helping clients operationalize advanced analytics solutions at enterprise scale (preferably on the cloud). 

Qualifications: 

Required: 

• 15+ years of analytics consulting / digital analytics experience within the Healthcare & Life Sciences value chain, specifically within the US market 

• Delivered digital transformation projects; familiar with built on cloud applications and AutoML 

• Exhibit deep expertise in the Healthcare and/or Life Sciences landscape in the US with solid functional understanding of solving problems using AI, Engineering & Design 

Preferred: 

• Earlier experience in an onshore-offshore model 

• 6+ years of relevant experience in running data analytics projects, project management, client relationship management & people management, P&L management 

• Imagineering mindset and clarity of thought 

• Ability to communicate clearly and present to senior leadership/executives 

• Enable and demonstrate innovative thinking and inspire innovative action 

• Leverage communication to inspire others. Exhibit a commitment to be a team player with a flexible “can do” attitude and strong interpersonal skills 

• Demonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities concerning global business fundamentals, business models, ethics, competitive analysis and cross-cultural/geographical sensitivities 

Education: 

• Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Economics, International Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Marketing & Strategy, Finance, Business Analytics or equivalent experience.
