Principal Power Delivery Architect

What You Will Do:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Delivery Architect to join d-Matrix. As a Power Delivery Architect, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing power solutions for our innovative chiplet based AI inference accelerators implemented in advanced technology nodes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the power delivery solutions meet performance, efficiency, and reliability requirements.

• Define Platform level power delivery and PDN requirements

• Identify Power solutions in form factor constrained environments suitable for high density chiplet integration

• Path finding for next gen power solutions including on-package power delivery

• Develop high performance high power Vertical Power Delivery Solutions

• Simulate and Verify Power Solutions using Industry leading tools such as Simplis, Power DC, Power SI etc

• Validate and optimize Power delivery through hands on Lab measurements

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Silicon Engineering, Package design, Thermal/Mechanical, Quality/Reliability, Supply Chain, Platform Architecture, PCB design

• Prepare comprehensive documentation and reports on power delivery designs, analysis results, and optimization strategies.

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, 15 years of experience in power delivery design and analysis for ICs.

o Proficiency in DC-DC Converter and LDO architectures

o Proficient in working with lab equipments such as scopes, electronic loads, phase margin and gain margin analyzers

o Experience in Power supply Load line definitions and Validation

o Proficiency in Power integrity tools such as SPICE, Cadence, or ANSYS.

o Strong understanding of Power delivery network components and their interactions.

o Experience with advanced technology nodes (7nm, 5nm, or below).

o Familiarity with power management techniques.

• Soft Skills:

o Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

o Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

• Additional Requirements:

o Experience with multi-die systems and 2.5D/3D packaging is a plus.

o Knowledge of thermal management in power delivery is desirable
