Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cutting-edge research at the interface of quantum computing and generative AI.
  • Develop advanced generative models and algorithms for applications in bioprocess engineering.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize biotechnological processes, with a focus on sustainability and efficiency.
  • Publish findings in high-impact journals and present at international conferences.

Qualifications:

  • A strong background in AI, machine learning, or quantum computing.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or R.
  • Familiarity with bioprocess engineering concepts is beneficial but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

You must have a two-year master's degree (120 ECTS points) or a similar degree with an academic level equivalent to a two-year master's degree.

Approval and Enrolment 
The scholarship for the PhD degree is subject to academic approval, and the candidate will be enrolled in one of the general degree programmes at DTU. For information about our enrolment requirements and the general planning of the PhD study programme, please see DTU's rules for the PhD education

Your application will be evaluated based on your academic qualifications, research experience, and potential to contribute to this emerging field. Salary and appointment terms 
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union. The period of employment is 3 years.
