About the Role
As a People Generalist, you will play a vital role in keeping our People operations running efficiently in a fast-moving environment. You will assist with onboarding, time and attendance tracking, compliance support, interview coordination, liaising between candidates and our immigration attorneys, and general People operations. This role is highly detail-oriented and requires someone who can stay organized, move quickly, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
This is a fully onsite role in our Palo Alto office (5 days a week) to provide hands-on support and seamless collaboration with the team.
What You Will Be Doing:
Support high-volume onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires
Assist with time and attendance tracking, including monitoring timecards, meal breaks, and time-off approvals
Help coordinate state registration and compliance-related documentation
Schedule and facilitate new hire orientations, meetings, and People-related events
Provide administrative support for People processes, employee records, and internal systems
Assist with immigration-related tasks, such as tracking visa status and documentation
Support fast-paced recruiting efforts by coordinating onsite and virtual interviews, scheduling candidate meetings, and maintaining hiring records
Respond to employee and candidate inquiries, escalating as needed to the appropriate team member
Help maintain accuracy in People and recruiting systems, ensuring all data is up to date
Must Haves:
2-3 years of experience in People Operations, Talent Acquisition, or administrative support
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, managing multiple priorities with efficiency
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to stay ahead of deadlines
Excellent communication skills with a team-oriented, proactive approach
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Comfortable working onsite 5 days a week in Palo Alto
Nice to Haves:
Experience with HRIS, ATS, payroll, or time-tracking systems (e.g., Rippling )
Prior exposure to state registration and compliance-related documentation
Experience supporting immigration processes such as work authorizations and visa tracking
Previous experience in a high-growth startup or fast-moving company
Interest in AI, healthcare, or mission-driven technology companies
Salary Range: $80,000 – $95,000 per year
Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.
