Our Opportunity: 
We are seeking a People Business Partner to work in our People & Performance Team and ensure the smooth operation of our Santiago, Chile office. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks within the People function including onboarding, employee relations, office coordination, and compliance with Chilean labor laws.  
 
The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a growing team. You will play a vital role in creating a productive, engaging, and compliant workplace environment.  
 
Key Responsibilities: 

 
People & Performance: 
 

  • Strategic People Partnership: Collaborate with business leaders to understand their goals and provide strategic support to achieve them. Work in partnership with the US People Business Partner to drive the integration and relationships of our offices in Santiago, New York and San Francisco. 

  • Employee Engagement: Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, including monthly office lunches, team mingles and stay interviews. Collaborate with the global People Team on global projects. 

  • Performance Management: Oversee performance management processes, career reviews and manager development programs.  

  • Talent Development: Partner with the Learning & Development team to identify skill gaps, deliver training programs and development Learning initiatives. 

  • Data Management: Manage People data, including turnover reporting, performance data, and Peakon surveys. Use data to drive People decisions and improvements. 

  • Reward and Recognition: Administer pay reviews, benefits, and reward programs. Ensure accurate payroll processing and manage job changes. 

  • Compliance and Administration: Create and ensure compliance with People policies, procedures and Chilean labour laws. Coordinate with external provider and manage employee documents, onboarding, and termination processes. 

  • Resource Management: Work with the Head of TA to manage headcount, hiring plans, and budget alignment. Conduct monthly strategy sessions with department heads. 

  • Transition Management: Conduct exit interviews, manage IT tickets, and ensure smooth transitions for departing employees. 

  • Office Management: Manage day-to-day operations of the Santiago office including ensuring a clean, organized and functional work space. Act as the primary contact for office-related matters, liaising with vendors, service providers and building management.  

 
 
Requirements: 

  • Commensurate experience working in Human Resources, preferably in a global organization. 

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken 

  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders across different offices. 

  • Strong understanding of Chilean labor laws and HR compliance requirements.  

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Strong sense of ownership.  

  • Enthusiastic about fostering a positive workplace culture, reflecting our business values 

  • Proactive, creative, and energetic with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
