About the Role


Based in Zürich, you will play a crucial role in advancing Human Resources by applying your expertise in statistical analysis, AI, and machine learning. You will be instrumental in driving data science capabilities and leading key projects within the team.
 

Main responsibilities:

  • Contribute to shaping and supporting the data science and AI roadmap for Strategic People Planning & Analytics.
  • Utilize cutting-edge data science and AI techniques, platforms, and tools to spearhead and deliver impactful projects across various business units.
  • Advocate for advanced analytics by sharing knowledge, skills, and services through engaging presentations both within the company and to external audiences.
  • Collaborate with data science experts and cross-functional teams across regions to address complex and exciting challenges in the insurance industry, using employee data to drive insights.

About the Team


We are a globally operating Strategic People Planning & Analytics team dedicated to staying at the forefront of HR trends. Our ongoing mission is to enhance agility and achieve the highest levels of operational excellence and efficiency. To achieve this, we are implementing a diverse portfolio of data science solutions, leveraging advanced statistics, Large Language Models, Generative AI, and Organizational Network Analysis (ONA). These cutting-edge tools empower us to gain deep insights into our workforce at scale.

About you

  • Educational Background: You hold a Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Probability and Statistics or a related field, with proven experience in analyzing and visualizing data. Experience in human resources or the insurance sector is a plus.
  • Technical Expertise: You possess expert-level knowledge in machine learning, AI, probability and statistics, and predictive modeling. You have successfully implemented solutions using Python.
  • Data Proficiency: Proficiency in Python is essential. You are highly skilled in SQL, data wrangling, and synthesizing large datasets. Familiarity with other programming languages and systems (Azure, Palantir Foundry) is an asset.
  • Business Collaboration: You have a track record of collaborating with business leaders and various functions to define problem statements and develop sophisticated data-driven solutions.
  • Mindset and Attitude: You bring a proactive, "CAN DO" attitude, with a strong willingness to learn new technologies and continuously enhance your skills.
  • Curiosity and Innovation: You have a keen interest in technical advancements, especially in AI and data science, and stay updated on the latest developments, particularly in areas related to employee data.
  • Teamwork and Problem-Solving: You enjoy collaborating with your teammates on exciting challenges, and you thrive as an ambitious, stress-resistant, and results-oriented problem solver.
  • Communication Skills: You have excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
