Responsibilities

As a Partner Cloud Solution Architect (PSA) for Azure Data&AI, you will proactively engage with the technical leadership at Microsoft partners and their customers across ANZ. Our partners include system integrators, managed service providers, and ISVs.  You'll be creating modern Data & Analytics platform solutions infused with AI, leading Proof of concepts (POCs) and pioneering Minimal Viable Products (MVPs), while ensuring long-term technical viability.  You'll have a passion for all things Data and be fluent in the following: 

  • Solution Design: Architect solutions that meet business and IT needs, create Data Platform and AI roadmaps, and ensure the long-term technical viability of new deployments
  • Customer Engagement: Apply technical knowledge to help customers build and deploy solutions on the Azure platform
  • Innovation: Infuse key analytics technologies where appropriate, such as Azure ML, Database Platforms, Big Data, Data Lake, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Educational Background

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field

Experience

  • Several years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
  • Experience in a customer-facing role and leading technical projects 

Technical Skills

  •  Proficiency with Microsoft Azure: Deep understanding of Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure SQL Database
  • Data Management and Analytics: Experience with data warehousing, big data, and advanced analytics solutions using Microsoft Technologies
  • AI and Machine Learning: Familiarity with Azure AI services, including Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Machine Learning, and other AI tools
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, or Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external teams
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for stakeholders
