Summary of Position:
The Partner Business Manager (PBM) will focus on our partner(s) and their channel programs to ensure the success of their programs at the company and field sales level. This position will create and organize portfolio management, financial management, performance management, and relationship management from across the organization and regions to successfully deliver on revenue and strategy goals. The PBM manages the strategic partnership and is responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships among business partners while also developing strategies to increase revenue for their companies.
Essential Functions:
General
- Execute key campaigns for the digitization of how our customers do business, by driving the adoption of partner portfolio offers across multiple technology stacks
- Collaborate with key partners to develop success plans, leading to exceptional customer experience. Teams include, but are not limited to engineering teams, sales and operations teams, Cisco, other OEMs, and customer stakeholders
- Align and collaborate with key stakeholders
- Implement plans for portfolio management, financial management, performance management, and relationship management leading to the achievement of revenue and margin goals
- Organize and orchestrate required resources to ensure a high impact and positive Denali/Partner and Customer experience
- Establish and maintain supplier and customer relationships by serving as a single point of contact for partner relationship
- Facilitate strong inter-departmental relationships/communications
- Be solely responsible for a versatile task list; exercise independent judgment in handling calls and composing the correspondence with the various OEMs and partners, preparing reports and presentation materials
- Interpret, evaluate and correlate research data to provide business analyses/projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making for the business
- Determine operational objectives by studying business function; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
- Provide training and coaching to new and existing team members and/or peers to assist with the ongoing development of the team and provide exceptional customer service
- Responsible for all aspects of performance management including, hiring, firing, and corrective action

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee in this position frequently communicates with other co-workers/clients who have inquiries about the various projects and other needs. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time. The employee in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operate a computer and office machinery such as a calculator, keyboard, copy machine and printer. Frequently moves boxes with equipment weighing up to 25lbs across the building and/or to other offsite buildings for various project needs.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor Degree
- 3-5 Years VAR/Reseller Channel Program experience
Qualifications:
- 3-5 Years Experience in OEM Program Management
- 2 Years Minimum Program Management
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative and cross-functional environment
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and an ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
- Must possess the ability to assimilate a wide variety of detail and convey it to appropriate persons for action
- Ability to quickly understand and align with organizational priorities and practices to support the company strategic priorities and goals
