We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our finance team at Deepdub. This role will play a key part in managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting the company’s growth. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will take ownership of key bookkeeping functions while collaborating closely with internal teams and external vendors. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing startup on a part-time basis, making a meaningful impact on the financial processes of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Oversee vendor management, handle approvals, and ensure timely payments.
  • Cash Reconciliation: Conduct daily and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and travel expenses.
  • Invoice Management: Track and process company invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments while reporting discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and support the production of monthly financial statements, including cash flow, P&L, and balance sheets.
  • Statutory Reporting: Manage timely submissions for ITA, Social Security, VAT, and other statutory requirements.
  • Fixed Assets: Maintain the Fixed Assets software and post monthly depreciation entries.
  • Audit Support: Assist with the annual corporate audit and fulfill other financial reporting requirements as needed.
  • Monthly and Quarterly Closing: Support the monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Payroll: Be responsible for the salary process, from processing the data to making the payment. Be the focal point for employees' questions concerning payroll, benefits, and related. Maintain communication with the company’s pension manager and be the link between them and the employees. Responsibility for employee reimbursement. Knowledge of payroll law and tax regulations and ensure compliance
  • Ad-hoc Tasks: Participate in various finance-related tasks and special projects as required.

Requirements

  • Certified Bookkeeper (Type 3 preferred, Type 2 considered).
  • Payroll accountant certification from a recognized professional organization.
  • At least 5 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a global or tech-focused company.
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in salary controlling.
  • Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Proficiency with Priority ERP and Netsuite (strong advantage).
  • High proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a part-time capacity.
  • Experience with multi-currency systems is a plus.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
