The Margin Strategy and Investment Optimization (MSIO) org is responsible for driving Microsoft cloud & AI capacity, margin excellence, and resource allocation rigor across Microsoft’s portfolio. Within MSIO, the Investment Optimization Strategy finance team is an exciting and fast-evolving team that partners deeply with engineering leaders to ensure $20B+ resources across ~100K engineering FTEs are continuously aligned to strategic engineering priorities.
We are looking for a Office 365 & AI, Finance Director on the Experiences and Devices Investment Optimization team to assist us in this critical work. In this role, you will partner across multiple stakeholders including engineering, operations and finance to ensure resource investments align to long term strategy. You will be at the heart of the AI transition across our productivity apps, providing key decision support as our engineering leaders navigate our AI ambitions.
The ideal candidate has problem-solving ability at multiple altitudes (high-level strategy to tactical execution) and can navigate complexity and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

Financial Analysis M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $129,200 - $273,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $162,000 - $299,400 per year.
