Position Summary:
DeepSource Technologies is looking for a Network Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead and enhance our network security initiatives. The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of security protocols, technologies, and best practices, with at least 10 years of experience in the field. You will be responsible for providing strategic oversight for security projects and ensuring the protection of sensitive information across our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Security Guidance:
• Provide expert-level guidance and consultation on network security strategies and best practices.
• Assess current security measures and identify areas for improvement and innovation.
2. Security Framework Implementation:
• Advise on the implementation of industry-standard security frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Lead the development and documentation of security policies, standards, and procedures.
3. Incident Response and Risk Management:
• Develop and implement incident response plans to promptly address and mitigate security incidents.
• Conduct risk assessments to evaluate potential security vulnerabilities and recommend solutions.
4. Collaboration and Training:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into all areas of the technology stack.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to mentor staff on network security awareness.
5. Research and Development:
• Stay updated with emerging threats and new technologies in the network security landscape.
• Conduct research to identify the effectiveness of new security technologies.

Requirements

• Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in network security, with a focus on enterprise-level security solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex security projects and initiatives.
• Certifications:
• Must hold at least one of the following certifications: CISSP, CCIE Security, or CEH.
• Technical Skills:
• Extensive knowledge of security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and network protocols.
• Proficiency in vulnerability assessment tools and techniques.
• Experience with cloud security concepts and tools.
