The Intelligent Cloud Infrastructure Lab aims to innovate technologies, algorithms, systems, and platforms for next-generation cloud infrastructure. The lab addresses scalability, performance, and resource utilization challenges in existing cloud services while preparing for future challenges with appropriate technologies and architectures. Additionally, the lab aims to understand industry dynamics and technology trends to create a robust ecosystem.
About the job:
Participate in or initiate designs of leading cloud networking infrastructure.
Define and implement innovative concepts for the system, review code developed by peers and ensure system quality.
Opportunities to track cutting-edge cloud technologies, and manage their adoption in POC and products.
Opportunities to submit patentable inventions and research papers.
The target annual compensation (based on 2080 hours per year) ranges from $78,000 to $168,000 depending on education, experience and demonstrated expertise.
About the ideal candidate:
MS or PhD in Computer Science or relevant backgrounds, or equivalent working experience.
Experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Rust, Java, Go etc.). Proficient in C/C++/Rust is an asset.
Work or research experience in one or more of these fields: CUDA kernel, Linux kernel, hardware driver/system, programmable network devices (SmartNic/switch) or embedded system.
