Oracle NetSuite seeks a visionary and strategic Sr. Director, AI Innovation to champion artificial intelligence (AI) adoption within our growing North America Sales organization. Acting as the leader of our AI Story, you will influence sales results by driving customer-centric AI strategies, beginning with Finance and Accounting solutions and expanding across broader NetSuite applications. This role will require considerable travel throughout North America, including strategic customer visits and NetSuite hub offices, to evangelize and demonstrate AI solutions, facilitate customer adoption, and align closely with Oracle’s broader AI vision and ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- AI Evangelism & Customer Engagement (70%): Clearly articulate and promote NetSuite’s AI vision, initially targeting Finance solutions and expanding across the Suite. Engage strategically with top-tier customers, driving sales by promoting AI adoption through executive meetings, demonstrations, and industry events.
- On-site Advocacy & Travel (100+ days): Extensive travel across North America to strategic customers and NetSuite hub offices, driving adoption and understanding customer needs.
- Market Intelligence & Media Presence (10%): Develop and leverage deep competitive intelligence to strategically position NetSuite’s AI solutions against market competitors. Engage in external conferences, industry analysts’ meetings and live/virtual events to speak on behalf of NetSuite’s AI strategy, execution and customer adoption.
- GTM Alignment (10%): Coordinate with broader Sales, Marketing, and Enablement teams to influence the Go-To-Market playbooks, messaging frameworks, and targeted AI marketing initiatives.
- Product Collaboration (5%): Work cross-functionally with Product Development, Engineering, and Delivery teams to provide feedback for them to define, develop, and deliver AI-driven solutions that reflect the needs of the NetSuite customers and prospects.
- Executive Communication (5%): Present AI strategies, customer use cases, and product roadmaps to senior executives, internally at NetSuite.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of leadership experience within SaaS, ERP, or enterprise software, with at least 5 years at a senior leadership level focused on bringing new products to market.
- Proven expertise in Finance-focused AI and analytics solutions, including Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), financial analytics, and business intelligence.
- Demonstrated success in customer-facing roles, managing relationships at executive levels, and navigating complex sales cycles.
- Proven ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
- Strong presentation skills, capable of effectively delivering complex content to diverse audiences, including executive stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of GTM strategies, revenue enablement frameworks, and AI-driven SaaS/ERP product positioning.
Preferred Skills and Qualities
- Experience within Oracle NetSuite or similar SaaS ERP platforms, particularly around Finance and Accounting.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Generative AI (GenAI) capabilities, aligning with Oracle’s unified AI strategy.
- Experience building and implementing go-to-market playbooks and customer adoption strategies.
- A visionary and collaborative leadership style, with the ability to inspire and mobilize teams toward strategic objectives.

Manages and directs a staff of solution specialists and/or managers in providing specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales territory. Establishes and communicates departmental objectives and implements plans to ensure attainment of business objectives. Works closely with sales management to ensure proper utilization of resources and provides justification for additional resource requests. Oversees the Interaction with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Develops forecasts. Participates in industry/product functions, seminars and round tables to remain up to date on industry or product knowledge. May deliver presentations/solutions to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
